Hale Gardens LTC is a members' club which dates back to 1928, and is affiliated
to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Lawn Tennis Association. It exists
to provide members with the best possible facilities for tennis and
to promote and encourage the game.

Facilities
Five artificial grass and one colour coated all-weather court, all with floodlighting. There is a modern clubhouse with changing rooms, showers, flat screen TV and a licensed bar. Payment of a small deposit entitles senior members to the loan of a key to the clubhouse, which is kept locked when not in use.
Visitors/Prospective Members
Prospective members are entitled to play up to three times as visitors prior to applying to join. Those not attaining the playing standard, are offered associate member status with a view to becoming full members later. A joining fee is payable upon acceptance.
Visitors are welcome, if introduced by a member who is responsible for ensuring that the visitor's book is signed and the appropriate
fee paid, prior to playing. Fully accredited members of other LTA registered clubs are also welcome. Visitors may not play on more than
three occasions in any one year.
Clothing and Balls
Members are required to wear mainly tennis clothing.
In order to prevent damage to court surfaces, only tennis footwear (not trainers) is permitted.
Senior members must provide tennis balls, and in fairness to other members, should ensure that these are in good condition. Local sports shops may give discount to members. Used match balls are available for purchase from the club.
